A node does not match anything I wrote.
That should never happen. Hover the node to see its cited lines. If the label still does not follow from them, open a ticket below with the map title and the node text. We treat it as our highest priority bug.
The map put two unrelated thoughts together.
Click one of them, choose Move, and pick the cluster it belongs to, or merge two nodes that say the same thing. Re-mapping later respects your edits where the thought is unchanged.
I hit the free limit.
Free includes two new maps a calendar month. Re-mapping an existing map, including adding new thoughts to it, is free and unlimited. Thinker removes the cap for $9 a month.
Export is grayed out.
Markdown and image export are part of Thinker and Studio. Free users can still copy any outline from the collapse panel.
Does it make things up?
No. Every node, connection, tension, and open question cites the fragments it came from, by line number. If a claim has no source line, our validator removes it before the map reaches you. Hover any node to see the exact text it was built from.
What happens to my thoughts?
They are private by default, encrypted in transit and at rest, never used to train any model, and deletable in one click from Settings. The homepage demo does not store what you type at all beyond a six-hour cache keyed to the exact text.
Which AI model does it use?
Nodemeadow is model-agnostic. A thin routing layer sends each dump to the configured provider and fails over to a second one if needed. Studio accounts get priority routing. You never have to pick a model.
How messy can the dump be?
Very. Paste meeting scraps, bullet lists, voice-of-thought typing, half sentences. One thought per line works best, but long paragraphs are split into thoughts automatically.
Can I add to a map later?
Yes. Open any map, add thoughts, and re-map. New fragments join existing clusters where they belong, the map morphs to the new shape, and nothing you wrote before is lost.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Two maps a month with up to forty fragments each, including clusters, connections, open questions, and outlines. Thinker is $9 a month for unlimited maps and export. Studio is $24 a month for shared maps and seats.
