Privacy policy
How Nodemeadow Inc. collects, uses, and protects personal information. Written to be read.
1. Who we are
Nodemeadow Inc. is a Delaware C-Corporation headquartered in San Diego, California. We operate nodemeadow.com and the Nodemeadow application. We are the controller of the personal information described here.
2. What we collect
Account information you give us (email, name, password hash or Google account id). Content you create (fragments and maps). Billing identifiers from Stripe (customer and subscription ids, never card numbers). Technical data needed to run the service (IP address for rate limiting, request logs for 14 days).
3. How we use it
To provide the service, including sending your fragments to a model provider to build your map. To send account email such as verification and password resets. To bill paid plans. To answer support. To keep the service secure. We do not sell personal information and we do not use your content to train models.
4. Legal bases
Performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, your consent where required, and compliance with law.
5. Sharing
Hosting (Vercel), database (Turso), email (Resend), payments (Stripe), and model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) process data on our behalf under contracts. Model providers receive only the fragments of a single map, with no account identifiers, and do not train on it. We disclose information when the law requires it.
6. Retention
Account and content data for as long as your account exists. Deleted accounts are removed immediately and purged from backups within 30 days. Form submissions for two years. Logs for 14 days.
7. Your rights
Access, correction, export, and deletion are available in Settings without asking us. Residents of California, the EU, the UK, and other jurisdictions have additional rights, including objection and complaint to a supervisory authority. Email privacy@nodemeadow.com to exercise any right.
8. Children
Nodemeadow is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Changes
We will post changes here and email account holders about material ones at least 14 days before they take effect.
